THE KEYS TO EMOTIONAL FREEDOM
This two-part workshop is perhaps our most important offering, because it deals with the fundamentals of happiness itself. It is the purest form of the work - how to deal with painful emotions as they arise and transmute them into happiness and freedom.
In January of 1958, Bill Wilson, the co-founder of AA wrote an article in The Grapevine entitled “The Next Frontier: Emotional Sobriety.” How do we calm our turbulent emotions and live a life of freedom? In this Zoom Workshop, we’ll learn what it means to befriend our emotions and use them on a moment to moment basis to fuel our spiritual growth. Most importantly, we’ll learn what happiness really is and how to live from a place of peace and serenity all day long. Although this is not a 12 step workshop, it is very 12 step friendly. In fact, it’s fits hand in glove with your 12 step process.
In this Workshop you will have the option of choosing a check-in partner or being assigned one. You will meet (via phone or Zoom) between workshop sessions to practice these tools during the week. This will weave these practices into the the fabric of y0ur lives to create a more lasting impact.
Our sliding scale is intended to make this program accessible to people across a wide range of income levels. We want everyone to have access to these teachings regardless of their financial situation.
People who contribute at the top of the sliding scale support our ability to offer this work to people who would otherwise be unable to participate.
